Use CodeCharge to Generate Web Applications from your Database

Perhaps you utilize MS Access, Visual Basic or other similar RAD tools for your programming needs, but are helplessly seeking equivalent utilities for ASP/VBScript development. If this is the case, you will be glad to know that now you can develop Database-Enabled Web Applications with great speed and ease.

Using CodeCharge, you can automate the creation of Internet and Intranet applications based on your existing database, whether it is MS Access, MS SQL, Oracle or any other SQL database. CodeCharge is particularly well suited for rapidly creating web interfaces to your existing databases and applications, including legacy systems. The code generated by CodeCharge looks clean, and is easy to understand and modify.

Although not a web-design tool, CodeCharge optionally generates HTML template files that can be loaded into any web editor where they can be modified to your needs. The code itself also can be modified directly within CodeCharge, thus allowing the developer to perform more complex functions, like validating or encrypting data, or updating two tables at once.

CodeCharge seems best suited for Intranet development, where a Webmaster may use it to quickly generate simple data entry form and searchable list that can make up an Employee Directory or Event List. But don't underestimate CodeCharge. Many companies already use it as a tool for creating complex web systems and portals. A good example is UltraApps.com, which recently released a powerful Defect Tracking Application, and a Consumer Portal, both generated with CodeCharge. CodeCharge itself comes with 15 examples of interesting web applications, such as online forum, bug tracking system, online store, classifieds, and more.

Last but not least, it is worth noting that CodeCharge generates several programming languages and it is one of not many tools that unites developers of all languages and platforms. CodeCharge community website (also generated with CodeCharge) shows that ASP, PHP, Perl, and other developers can work well together.
